If you're looking for free printable thank you cards you can download and print at home, this set of 24 designs has you covered!

I had so much fun putting together my printable gift label set that I couldn't resist sharing another little freebie with you! This time around, it's a set of 24 bright and colorful thank-you cards - just perfect for the holiday season (or anytime you want to spread a little appreciation in this world!).

They're designed in my favorite color palette - the same one you'll see in my cleaning book, printable planner, and freezer meal planning packs - so they're playful, happy, and easy to use for teachers, friends, family, or anyone you want to thank in a meaningful way.

Printing Instructions

To print your free thank you cards:

  1. Open the file - Click the link below each image. A PDF will open in your browser (for Canva templates - a new window will open; click the button to open the template in your Canva account.)
  2. Download or print - Use the down arrow to save, or the printer icon to print directly. On a phone, this will probably go to your files app; on a desktop, check your downloads folder. Adjust the copy number for however many cards you need.
  3. Choose the right paper - For best results, print in full color on white cardstock or matte photo paper. Regular printer paper is too flimsy for a folded note card.
  4. Fold design - Each card has a single-fold layout (one card per page) with a dotted line showing where to fold. Totally optional, but if you really want to get that fold line nice and sharp, use this scoring tool for a neat fold!
  5. Cut clean edges - Use a straight-edge paper cutter or scissors. Pro Tip: Cut only around the outside border, not along the fold line.

⚠️ Please note: These printables are for personal, non-commercial use only. Redistribution (digital or printed) isn't allowed.

These cards were in the original version of this post - they have more of a Christmas/holiday feel and are great for thanking loved ones for gifts, hosting, or showing that they care during the holiday season.

  • Say thank you for a gift
  • Thank a hostess for their hospitality
  • Let kids thank a friend or family member for their favorite holiday event

FAQs

The designs in this post are formatted to fold once (single-fold) and are sized to approximately 4x6 inches. They're laid out to print one card per sheet. Make sure your printer settings match the size (e.g. "Actual size" or "Scale 100%").

Most of the printables in this post are pdf files, meaning they can't be edited very easily. If you'd like to edit your own, see the Canva printables section above; these cards will allow you to edit the colors and some of the fonts/wording.

Yes, but a few caveats: you'll need a PDF reader app that supports full-resolution printing, and your wireless printer must accept print jobs from mobile. Screens and mobile apps sometimes compress or alter colors, so for best accuracy, use a computer if possible.

For the best results, use a thick cardstock or matte photo paper. These offer more durability and a nicer feel than regular paper, especially when you're folding the card. If you want the cards to hold up like store-bought ones, shoot for around 80-100lb cardstock.
