These colorful printable thank you cards are the easiest option if you just want to download, print, and be done.
Each design opens as a PDF, so there is no account to create and nothing you have to edit first. Print your favorite on white cardstock, cut around the outside edge, fold it in half, and write your message inside.

How to Print Your Thank You Cards
Printing these cards is really simple, but a few little tweaks will make them look much more like a store-bought card.
- Open the file. Click the download button underneath the card you want. For the ready-to-print cards, a PDF should open in your browser. For the editable designs, Canva will open in a new tab so you can customize the template first.
- Download or print. You can either save the PDF to your computer or print it directly from your browser. On a phone or tablet, downloaded files will usually go to your Files app. On a computer, check your Downloads folder.
- Use cardstock or matte photo paper. For the best results, print the cards in full color on white cardstock or matte photo paper. Regular printer paper will technically work, but it's pretty flimsy once the card is folded. I usually recommend around 80-100 lb cardstock if your printer can handle it.
- Print at 100% scale. Choose Actual Size or 100% Scale in your printer settings so the dimensions don't get accidentally changed. Most of these printable cards fold to approximately 4x6".
- Cut around the outside edge. Use scissors or a straight-edge paper cutter to trim the card. Pro tip: Only cut around the outside border. Don't cut along the fold line!
- Fold the card. Fold the card along the center line. Totally optional, but if you're particular about getting a super clean fold, a scoring tool makes this really easy.
Then all that's left is your message!

What to Write in a Thank You Card
The inside of each printable card is blank, so you can make your note as short, sweet, sentimental, or silly as you'd like.
You absolutely don't have to write a novel. A sentence or two that says what you're thankful for and why is plenty.
