Welcome to Lamberts Lately

Around here, I share all things home - from family-friendly recipes to doable DIYs, realistic organization tips, cleaning tips, and everyday celebrations. My goal is to make homemaking feel easy, attainable, and affordable - no matter what your family looks like.

What started as a creative outlet has become a trusted space for nearly 20 yearsโ€™ worth of home and family tips. Every recipe is tested in my own kitchen, every project is made for real families, and every tip comes from real-life experience.

Iโ€™m so glad youโ€™re here - welcome!

About Leslie

Leslie is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she graduated from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and met her husband, Noah. The two married in 2007 and moved to south Mississippi after the birth of their daughter, Emmie, in 2012. They now live there with their two children - Emmie (now 13) and Jackson (9) - and love the slower pace of small-town life.

When sheโ€™s not blogging, Leslie enjoys working out, reading, crafting, volunteering, spending time with her kids, and unwinding with a binge-worthy show alongside her husband.

Blog Beginnings

Leslie launched her blog in 2009, right in the middle of the hobby blogging boom. At the time, she was simply inspired by a few blogs she followed and thought it would be a fun way to document everyday life. She had no idea that what began as a casual experiment would grow into a life-changing journey just a few years later.

Leslie began blogging as a way to document her familyโ€™s everyday life. Over time, it naturally evolved into a space where she shares how sheโ€™s creating a functional, welcoming home - one that serves her family well in every season.

FAQs

Yes! I try to focus on recipes that are quick and easy to make. I also put an emphasis on readily available ingredients. I live in a small town with little access to specialty foods, so I know how frustrating it can be to find that perfect recipe without the ability to buy its ingredients. Here, you'll find simple meal ideas with no-fuss ingredients that your family will love.

For years, I used Photoshop to make the printables you see on my blog. I've recently started using Canva as well - it's a free, easy-to-use online editing software that I highly recommend for beginners. It even lets me bring you editable printables, like my habit tracking printables or my time blocking pages.

I get this question more than any other...if you're asking it, you're probably using my cleaning schedule printables. That's an acronym for Baseboards, Walls, Doors, and Windows. I clean all of these at the same time in my cleaning checklists, and instead of typing it out every time, I just abbreviate!
