Today, I thought I'd share one of our go-to sweet treats around here. When we have a hankering for something rich and comforting but don't have the time/energy to make a big dessert, this is our go-to trick!
We love our Air Fryer for everything from Air Fryer Freezer Meals to Perfectly Roasted Whole Okra - but it's definitely a go-to for sweet recipes as well.
Why You'll Love This Dessert
- It's the easiest recipe you'll see all day. Seriously, it doesn't get much simpler than this. You just stack and air fry.
- Just like the real deal. No need to make a campfire to get your favorite camping dessert! This simple hack lets you enjoy s'mores without any fuss.
- Great for a quick treat. In under 5 minutes, you can go from having a craving to enjoying a warm, gooey, rich s'more.
Ingredients

- graham crackers - Either the original flavor or the cinnamon sugar variety works well for this method.
- marshmallows - We've found that one jumbo marshmallow is the perfect size for Air Fryer S'mores. Mini marshmallows do work in a pinch, but you'll need to use 4 to 5 instead of just one jumbo marshmallow.
- chocolate bar - If you're using a standard Hershey bar, go with 2 rectangles for each s'more. If not, use about 1 square inch of chocolate bar.
Additions & Variations
- Use any kind of chocolate candy. If you've never had a s'mores made with a Reese's cup instead of a chocolate bar, you're in for a treat. We've also subbed Snickers Bars, Milky Way bars, and Twix bars in our s'mores. A mini-size candy bar of any kind of chocolate candy works.
- Use flavored marshmallows. There are tons of different flavored marshmallows available now! Use a fruity flavor that works with the chocolate (like strawberry) or go with coconut, caramel, or cinnamon marshmallows for a really fun flavor addition. You could even use stuffed marshmallows and leave out the chocolate.
- Use a Pop-Tart instead of graham crackers. Ok, hear me out - this is to. die. for. We affectionately call these "S'mores S'mores" in our house. Use a s'mores-flavored Poptart (or really any flavor out there) instead of a graham cracker. Absolutely decadent! We use one Poptart (broken in half) per serving.
How to Make Air Fryer S'mores

- Place graham cracker halves in the basket of your air fryer. On one graham cracker, set a piece of chocolate. On the other, place a jumbo marshmallow and gently press it down so it stays in place.
- Air fry at 425°F for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the marshmallow becomes puffed and golden brown and the chocolate begins to soften.
- Carefully remove the graham crackers from the air fryer. Press the two halves together to sandwich the melted chocolate and gooey marshmallow. Serve warm and enjoy your perfectly toasted s'mores!

More Helpful Tips & Tricks
- Get the pan as close as you can to the top of the Air Fryer. The closer it is, the more golden & toasted your marshmallow will be. Just watch the marshmallow carefully to prevent burning!
- If you're making a lot of s'mores at once, this can be done on a sheet pan in the oven as well. Just preheat the oven to 425 degrees, place as many s'mores as needed on the baking sheet (in a single layer), and bake for 2-3 minutes.
- I don't recommend saving leftovers from this treat - enjoy it all at once!
I hope you love this quick & easy sweet treat! 🍫 If you give this a try, make sure to rate ⭐️ and review 💬 the recipe in the comments below. And, as always, follow along for the latest & greatest from the blog!
