Ingredients
8ozcream cheese(room temperature)
1cuppowdered sugar
½cupheavy cream
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
In a large bowl, use a hand mixer on low speed to blend heavy cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar.
Add cream cheese. Mix on low until almost blended; slowly turn the mixer up to high speed, mixing at high speed for about 30 seconds. This will make the dip fluffy and light.
Serve as a dip with fresh fruit, sweet crackers, or cookies.
Notes
Use room-temperature cream cheese for the smoothest dip.
For a lighter dip, substitute half-and-half or whole milk for the heavy cream; texture will be thinner.
If dip is too thick, mix in heavy cream or milk 1 tablespoon at a time.
For a less-sweet dip, start with ¾ cup powdered sugar and adjust to taste.
Make up to a few hours ahead and keep covered in the refrigerator until serving.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
For best texture, I don’t recommend freezing this dip.
