Ingredients
8ozcream cheeseroom temperature
1cuppowdered sugar
½cupheavy cream
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
In a large bowl, use a hand mixer on low speed to combine heavy cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar.
Add cream cheese. Mix on low until almost blended; slowly turn the mixer up to high speed, mixing at high speed for about 30 seconds. This will make the dip fluffy and light.
Serve as a dip with fresh fruit, sweet crackers, or cookies.
Notes
Use room temperature cream cheese for the smoothest, creamiest texture.
If possible, make ahead a few hours—the vanilla flavor develops beautifully as it chills.
Leftovers: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3–4 days.
Freezer option: Freeze in a Ziploc bag for up to 6 months. Thaw in the fridge before serving (note: dip may lose some fluffiness).
Lighten it up: Substitute reduced-fat cream cheese and half & half (or milk) for the heavy cream. Stevia can replace powdered sugar, though it may cause slight graininess.
