Ingredients
4ouncescream cheese(softened to room temperature)
21ouncesstrawberry pie filling
8ounceswhipped topping(fully thawed)
½cupsweetened condensed milk
20ouncescanned crushed pineapple(drained and pressed dry; press out as much liquid as possible)
2cupsmini marshmallows
3ouncesdry strawberry Jello mix
½cupsliced fresh strawberries(for topping only)
Instructions
Beat the softened cream cheese until completely smooth and lump-free.
Add sweetened condensed milk and mix until fully combined and creamy.
Stir in the dry strawberry Jello mix (dry mix; do not prepare it) until evenly incorporated. It will look slightly grainy at first - that's normal.
Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Stir in the strawberry pie filling, crushed pineapple (drained very well and dried with paper towels), and mini marshmallows until just combined.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours (preferably overnight) to thicken.
Stir before serving and add fresh strawberries if using.
Notes
Make sure cream cheese is fully softened before mixing to avoid lumps.
Use the dry Jello mix. Do not prepare it before adding.
Drain crushed pineapple very well and press out excess liquid to prevent a watery salad.
Fold in whipped topping gently to keep the mixture light and fluffy.
Let the salad chill at least 1–2 hours before serving for best texture.
Texture may seem thick at first but will loosen as it chills.
Stir once before serving to smooth out the consistency.
Add fresh strawberries right before serving to avoid extra moisture.
Best within 24 hours, but can be stored up to 3 days in the fridge.
If it becomes too loose, add extra whipped topping or marshmallows to thicken.
