In a large microwave-safe bowl, mix together 2 cups of semi-sweet chips and 1 cup of evaporated milk.

Once dip is smooth and stirrable, add 1 cup of powdered sugar. Stir well. If needed, microwave for an additional 30 seconds.
Notes
This dip can be served at room temperature. It will have a thicker consistency but is much easier to serve at a party without constant reheating.
Pair this dip with a store-bought fruit tray for a great party dessert that requires minimal effort.
If you'd like a colorful dip, you can use an equal amount of candy melts instead of the chocolate chips in the recipe.
This dip will not harden. It will definitely thicken as it cools, but I wouldn't recommend it for something like chocolate-covered strawberries.
