2019 Christmas Card & Home Tour

Happy Christmas Eve, friends! Welcome to our 2019 holiday home.

I love posting this home tour each year (you can see past tours here) – not because it changes all that much, but because I love tracking the subtle changes and evolution of our home over the years. I have a mix of classic, nostalgic favorites and new, fun Christmas decor each year. It changes just a little bit over time to really reflect our home and the people that live in it.

Come on in!

This is the first year we've actually had a fully decorated dining room for Christmas. I couldn't wait to give it a little bit of holiday flair!

Just off the dining room, the beloved foyer table that we built earlier this year is decorated as well.

Just behind the dining room, even our butler's pantry/coffee bar is decorated!

This printable ended up being the hit of last year's home tour post. I noticed that post was getting a lot of pins a few months ago – it was because of this. I think it's so cute that we keep it out all year! You can grab the printable of this here.

We have our family tree (with our more personal ornaments) upstairs in the playroom. The downstairs tree might be pretty, but this is the one that really means the most to me. It makes me smile every time I go through the front door.

We also have the kids' Lambert family stockings upstairs. These are a tradition on Noah's side of the family.

Our play nativity set is on a table in the playroom. My kids love this – we've had it since Emmie was a baby.

Moving downstairs…

You can see that we have a little bit of elf decoration this year! 🙂 Our elf, Eddie, decided to deck our home out in paper snowflakes a few nights ago.

Our bargain closeout store advent calendar is still going strong! My kids look forward to this every morning.

I'm sure I've shared this link before, but I use this advent countdown printable every year. It breaks the Christmas story down into really cute printable pieces that are perfect for an advent calendar. Every day, I tape them on the cabinet below the calendar to piece the whole story together.

This one is a forever favorite in our home – I don't know what I'm going to do when something happens to it. It hung on my classroom door when I was a teacher, and it's been probably Emmie's favorite decoration since she was a baby. It's starting to look a little rough, but I'll guess it will hang on this door every year until it falls apart!

This is our “more formal” Christmas tree. Just like last year, it's all decked out in blue, brown, and gold.

You guys saw our stockings in the stocking stuffer updates a couple of months ago…but had to show one more peek of my favorite part of all of our Christmas decorations.

Lots of personal pieces on the shelves…

…and even our first Christmas card picture! This is from 2008. Look at those babies (all three of them!).

That was 2008 – and this is 2019! A little different, huh?

I've shared our Christmas card every year since I started the blog, and this year's no different. (You can see past cards here.) Consider this my Christmas card to every one of you sweet readers out there – I wish I could send you all one!

Merry Christmas, everyone! May your holiday be full of the people you love.
