Recipe – 10 minute, 5 ingredient fried pickles
These are SO easy and SO good!
I was on my frying kick a couple of weeks ago. I was literally searching my kitchen for something to fry.
It was a sad time.
I found some pickles in the fridge. We never eat pickles, so I'm not sure why we had them, but I do LOVE fried pickles. So I got to work!
10 Minute, 5 Ingredient Fried Pickles
1 cup Flour
1 cup beer
1/4 c Salt
Pickles (about a half a small jar of chips)
1 quart Vegetable Oil for frying
Directions:
Mix the flour, beer, and half the salt. Let the fizz calm down before dipping.
Pat the pickles dry with a paper towel. You want them pretty dry, or the batter doesn't stick as well and the oil bubbles up.
Coat the pickles and fry for about 2 minutes per side.
Sprinkle the fried pickles with the remaining salt (don't skip this step – this really brings out the flavor of the pickles!)
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce – we used ranch and it was great!
Enjoy!
