Satisfying that Comfort Food Craving with Cracker Barrel

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cracker Barrel for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

One of the biggest cravings I've had during this pregnancy is comfort food.  Anything from classic recipes to rich, wholesome dishes has been at the top of my list for the past couple of months.  I've got a fairly extensive arsenal of recipes to satisfy the craving, but sometimes, you just want someone else to go through the trouble of cooking, you know?

Enter Cracker Barrel’s Old Country Store.  It is a one-stop shop for great, fresh-made food and even a little bit of entertainment.  Cracker Barrel is really more of an experience.  Before sitting down to eat, we always start out at Cracker Barrel’s Retail Store, where we can browse everything from toys to the latest in collegiate Game Day Essentials.

But the real star of the show is the selection of down-home offerings that Cracker Barrel has to offer.  If you haven't taken a look at their menu lately, it's worth a look...they really have upped their selection!  Of course, the classics are still there.  I am a big fan of the Chicken n' Dumplings meal, as well as their Meatloaf (to die for as next-day leftovers).

Now, Cracker Barrel also offers a selection of Wholesome Fixin's, a few signature meals that offer customers delicious Lunch and Dinner options at 600 calories or less. Who would have thought you could enjoy Buttermilk Oven-Fried Chicken Breast at under 600 calories?  It looks absolutely delicious!

And, if you're in need of a wholesome and extensive kid's menu, Cracker Barrel has that too!  Let your child choose from macaroni and cheese, chicken tenders, vegetable plate, and many other options.  If you have a breakfast eater, the Cracker Barrel kid's menu is available all day too!  Let your little one enjoy their breakfast favorites anytime of the day!

Don't forget dessert!  Cracker Barrel offers options like Coca-Cola cake, cobblers, sundaes, and Baked Apple Dumplins with vanilla ice cream (pictured above).  Could you not just dive into that picture right now?

In spite of Cracker Barrel's delicious food (trust me, there's plenty), I think my favorite part of the Crackel Barrel experience is the hospitality.  You feel so taken care of from the time you walk in the doors.  The delicious comfort food and the friendly, family atmosphere gives me a little taste of home.

You can find more information about Cracker Barrel (including a full menu) at their website!  While you're there, check out their extensive selection of products available in their retail store.
