Happy Friday, friends!
The biggest news of the week...we have a new nephew! Bates Heath Lambert was born Wednesday night. He's adorable, has a head full of dark hair, and Mommy and baby are doing well.
Noah's brother's family lives in Florida, so we weren't able to be there for the birth, but we got a chance to FaceTime last night. Emmie was more concerned about telling her cousin Avery about all of the toys she wants to bring to her house, but Mommy sure did enjoy getting some newborn time, even if it was from 10 hours away. :)
So I tried Pure Barre for the first time this week...HOLY LORD it was hard. Like, everybody tells you you'll shake uncontrollably for an hour, but nothing prepares you for that. And let's just talk about how sore I am, three days after trying it. I have muscles hurting that I didn't even know existed. Needless to say, I now realize just how out of shape I was/am.
That being said, I'll be back next week. It's strangely addicting...like, to the point that I've been reading about it and watching videos about it all week. I think I need another day or two to really recover from it, but I'm hitting it hard next week...I mean, I've got to make myself go enough to justify the cost of it! :)
Somebody tell me when my child turned 7? Really, she's growing up too fast.
Ok, y'all know I am a big fan of money saving websites. It's so easy to save money when shopping online...almost every retailer you can imagine has coupon codes out there, you just have to know where to look!
I found a new resource for finding those coupon codes this week - Frugaa. If you're shopping online, type in the store you're shopping in their main search page and it will show many available coupons for that store. Easy peasy! You can browse their Stores page for store coupons they have available, or their Categories page for the different categories of items they might have a coupon for.
I love finding good online resources like this...hope it helps y'all too!
Can we talk about Uggs for a second? This is probably the biggest dilemma debate I've ever had (not that I have a lot of fashion dilemmas...).
These have been popular for like 10 years now, and every year, I swear them off because I'm sure this is the last year they're going to be in style, and I refuse to pay that much to wear shoes for 1 year. But it's like the trend that just keeps on going, and I always regret not buying them.
This is the first year I've really seriously thought about buying a pair. But is this the last year? Am I going to get my money's worth? So many questions... :)
So what do y'all think? Splurge on these and get a few years' wear or wait for this trend to die? I can't decide.
(I 100% understand this this is not a real problem, by the way.)
Hope y'all have a great weekend!
