This girl has been quite the social butterfly this week. We've had several fun Christmas activities with her friends, and she had the chance to go to a fireman-themed party this weekend. She's way, way into anything firetruck-related right now, so she had a blast. I believe Santa might be looking at bringing her a firetruck after last weekend!
Noah and I had a great anniversary! We went to one of our local favorites for dinner. He also surprised me with this bad boy...
Very, very needed! I had my old Macbook Pro for 5 years, and between normal use and blog design work, I have put it through a pretty rough life. This one's a little bit faster and should last me for a good long while. So pumped about it! I've been working on it since maybe Wednesday, and it's amazing how much faster I can get things done now.
Ok, I need to discuss this with the blog world. For years, I've heard people rave about Love, Actually. How it's just the best Christmas movie. I'm a big fan of Christmas movies, but somehow I've never seen it.
So, one night this week, I couldn't sleep, and since it's on Amazon Prime, I thought I'd give it a try. Y'all. Y'ALL. That is the saddest movie I've ever seen. You know how normally a sad cheesy movie might make you cry once, maybe twice at the end? No. I sat there and ugly cried that whole freakin' movie. I'm never watching it again.
(I'm kidding, I'll probably watch it again next week. It was really good. But I need a few days to recover.)
I mentioned how busy this week has been...a lot of that is because I've been so busy with blog designs! Normally, this is a pretty slow time of the year (and the beginning of the year is always kind of my "busy season")...but, many of you know that this year I rolled out a line of premade blog designs on etsy, and they've been doing amazingly well. I've actually been kind of blown away at how successful that is, and to be honest, I kind of enjoy working with the premades more than I like doing the custom designs! Not that I won't do custom designs anymore, that's still something I enjoy, but I've really just been pleasantly surprised at how much I like the premades.
If you're in the market for a new look, check me out! And thus ends my shameless plug for the day. :)
Speaking of etsy...I have a special place in my heart for readers that are growing a business. It's something I've been really passionate about for years, and I love to use my blog to help out when I can. One of my long-time readers, Kristen, owns a really cute etsy shop called AddiBug Designs with precious, hand-made items for little girls.
Kristen is offering all of my readers 20% off anything in her shop through Sunday with the code MerryChristmas20. She's offered to give one of my readers one of these adorable toddler infinity scarves! This would be a perfect gift for a little girl.
You can enter with the Giveaway Tools widget below. I'm going to make this a fast giveaway...I'll end entries Sunday night and pick a winner Monday!
