I have to say...I'm one lucky girl.
This year, my two Valentines were pretty good to me.
About a week ago, Noah let me in on his Valentine's present for me...an overnight date on Thursday night. He had it all planned - hotel, babysitter (a.k.a. Nana and Supe), and dinner.
I think one of my favorite parts was having an afternoon off Thursday to clean my house. Moms out there - you know cleaning your house without a toddler messing up behind you is a vacation!
We stayed in one of the newer rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel. I've always loved this hotel, but this room was just over the top. That's an entire wall of windows!
That's also a wall of windows in the bathroom. Everything was so updated and new...we're pretty sure we were the first ones to stay in this room.
We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. Sushi is my love language - and this sushi snob is here to tell you that this is amazing sushi. I'm getting hungry just looking at it now.
Friday, we headed back that afternoon to see our little Valentine. Trust me, she didn't miss us a bit. We joke that Nana's house is her Disney World. But we came armed with lots of sugar (both kisses and the real deal) and lots of toys, so I guess she was happy to see us. :)
I didn't get any pictures of her until Saturday morning...whoops! She still had a steady intake of candy going then though, trust me. This would be the doughnut she had for breakfast.
And this would be her raiding her Valentine's basket again. She had learned what Pez, Chocolate Covered Raisins, and Sweet Hearts are this weekend...and she's a fan.
Saturday night, we took our Valentine out to eat at one of our favorite local places. As soon as we walked in the door, she started yelling "EAT!!" and "FOOD!!" I have no idea where she gets it.
I am beyond blessed to have these two as Valentines!
