Pumpkins and a Piggy

Emma Ramey headed to the Pumpkin Patch for the first time yesterday!

We live about 30 minutes from a really fun pumpkin patch now.  It's a year-round farm that has a pumpkin patch this time of the year, complete with playground, hay ride, and train.

This girl didn't quite know what to think about the hay ride at first...

...but really warmed up to it!  She had so much fun seeing the sights and watching the other kids.  There was lots to see too - they took us on a tour of the whole farm.

Her absolute favorite part - by far, no question - was picking her pumpkins.  She ran from one to the other.

She instantly found the green and white pumpkins...absolutely loved them.  So, naturally, we had to get one.

We also got a pretty orange one too!  We're carving that bad boy up tonight. :)

We even had a chance to see a sunflower field!  They were very pretty...and a certain someone wanted to run into the field.

Needless to say, she had a pretty decent time.

As if that wasn't enough fun, we also headed to a couple of trunk or treats last night.  Her grandparents' church had one and the one next door was hosting one too.

Miss Piggy loves getting some candy!  She's fascinated by the fact that people give her something when she goes up to them.  She's very good at saying "thank you" and always flashes that smile. :)

Feel lucky that you have seen her with the hat on...it doesn't happen that much.  Girl HATES it.  We got a million pictures in the twelve seconds she was willing to wear it last night.

This was the view for most of the night though.  She had a perch at Nana and Supe's trunk and she had to say "Happy Halloween!" (in her own little language) to everyone that walked by.
