I have always loved Oprah's "Favorite Things" show...it is always one of my favorite parts of the holidays. Not only do I love seeing the usually VERY worthy people she gives these things to, but I also love getting ideas from her on the newest and greatest products!
So I decided to play Oprah a little bit this year. No, I'm not giving any of these things away (sorry to disappoint), but I did put together my favorite things that I could give out if I win the lottery someday. :)
If you're needing any last minute Christmas ideas, here are a few that I have absolutely loved this year! Most of these link to the product on Amazon, and I read yesterday that you can still order from them for a few days. And no, this is in no way my "Christmas list." There are some I would love to have, but there are also some I already have, and some of them just wouldn't be for me at all...but I think they would be great for others!
I cannot sing the praises of this one enough. I have only had this eyeshadow pallette for a week, and I am in love! Like I mentioned a few days ago, there are literally thousands of tutorials on youtube/pinterest for how to use these. The eyeshadows also last all day! I am in love with my Naked pallette, and kind of want Naked 2 already.
And I just found out that this came out this week! It doesn't have as many colors as Naked, but is almost half the price...so if you're not wanting to drop a lot of money, but still want to try it out, this is a good idea!
For the formula users out there, this is SO convenient. Just put the formula in the bottom, the water in the top, and twist to mix the two! There are just some things in this world that I sit and think "why couldn't I have come up with that?"
Ok, I will admit this one is on the pricier side...but it is worth it. We got one for a Christmas present last year. I try to run it every day (sometimes it's hard to coordinate with Emma Ramey's naps), and if you do, you can easily keep your floors maintained without having to vacuum very often! I will warn you though - if you have cords or other things on the floor, it's bad about getting stuck. But that was just motivation for me to get all of that junk off my floors. :)
I have been lusting after admiring these bags for a long time. It's a camera bag that doesn't look so frumpy and "photographery." I would gladly use this as a purse/diaper bag/camera bag! This is the one I love, but there are many, many more. And Erin and Nina are doing a giveaway for one right now too (hint hint Erin and Nina, I NEED this bag. Please and thank you.)
We've received word from Santa that Emma Ramey might be getting this for Christmas. :) I think it's just one of those classic toys. She loves being pushed/wheeled around too. And there are lots of places with these on sale right now!
Ok y'all, I think this is just adorable for a guy that likes to grill and loves sports! They have all kinds of different teams (y'all know I had to pick Alabama, but there is one for just about every team you can imagine). I was this close to buying these for Noah's and my brothers!
I have had one of these for a few years, and love it! Everybody has jewelry, so everybody needs a cleaner, right? I scrub my rings just a little with a toothbrush before putting it in here (with just a tiny squirt of dish soap), and it comes out looking professionally cleaned. Love this thing!
I haven't purchased my iPhone 5 just yet, so I'm holding off on getting this until I do - but I just LOVE these cases! An otter box is a must for me, and I think it's so cool that you can personalize them. This is the one that I would order, just in case you were wondering. :)
If you can find this, get it. :) We tried to get our hands on one for a present and couldn't seem to track one down, but it seems like they are back in stock now! They are making the "original" Atari too.
I have it on good authority that Emma Ramey might be getting this for Christmas too. :) This is a baby-proof case for an iPhone. We're planning on putting one of our old ones in it and just loading it with apps/movies for her!
This is pure genius. It is a mini crock pot that is spill-proof and dishwasher safe. You put your food in it and it's warm by lunch! I'm thinking Noah might need this...he refuses to break down and buy a microwave (aren't they like $50?) for his office, so he takes peanut butter sandwiches every day. Emma Ramey never had a chance in the stubborn department with the two of us as parents.
These are my new obsession. If you have a coffee lover that likes a little flavor, these would be perfect! The coffee is awesome and you can taste just a little hint of blueberry. Mmm...I want one now just thinking about it!
I literally use this every day. Y'all know I'm a cheap-o, but this is worth the money! It makes great coffee, and not too much of it either. Noah and I have different coffee tastes, so we can each just make our own! This is the model we have...not too expensive, but nice enough that it has all of the features you need.
Girls - if you wear liquid foundation and you've never tried this, it will change your life. It's a almost suede-like sponge that doesn't have any harsh edges, so it doesn't leave makeup lines when you apply. I was a skeptic - but it makes putting on foundation SO much easier! Another great stocking stuffer idea.
