Santa Paws 2 Review and Giveaway!

So sorry for blowing up your feeds today - but I thought, especially since I was focusing on Christmas this week, this would be a fun post (and giveaway!) to include!

Recently I was contacted to do a review for the Disney movie Santa Paws 2.  Y'all know I am a Christmas nut, and we're really trying to build Emma Ramey's Christmas movie collection, so I was so excited to give it a try.

We made a movie morning out of it today.  It was fun, because this was actually Emma Ramey's first Christmas movie to watch!  I couldn't wait to see how she reacted.

This child has been a WILD CHILD lately...I wasn't sure if she would even sit still.  But she really liked watching it!

It has lots of music and special effects...by far her favorite parts.  She would always stare and stare during the musical scenes.

And for the older kids/adults, this really is a sweet story!  Here is the trailer, to explain it a little bit better:

I think it did a really good job of capturing the Christmas spirit.  This movie really focuses on the spirit of kindness and giving during the holiday season...something I really want to instill in Emma Ramey from the beginning.  It was kind of refreshing to see a movie that can engage kids and teach them about this at the same time!

It had funny parts and happy parts.  There were some parts that were a little sad too - that would be the one thing you might want to discuss with children before watching this movie.  The children in the movie lost their mother, and some kids might not understand that.  I think just talking about it with them beforehand would be appropriate.

Overall, I think this is a wonderful family movie for Christmas.  Any age from Emma Ramey to older kids would love this!

And the most exciting part - I have also been given a Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack of Santa Paws 2 to give to one of you!
