Scentsy Giveaway and Review

So apparently I am late to the Scentsy party.  I've been hearing great things about it for the longest time, but just never tried it for one reason or another.

Then I had a sweet reader Erin that wanted to team up for a Scentsy party.  She generously offered to let me try some.

Y'all.  I am in love.  I feel like a good scent in your home is just as important as your furniture and decor.  But, I don't like a scent to be too overwhelming.  This is perfect...noticeable, but not too strong!

Erin sent the plug-in warmer and a Cinnamon Vanilla Scentsy bar.  If you're not familiar with Scentsy, it's a flameless way to warm scented wax that makes your whole house smell awesome.  There are literally hundreds of different scents...you name it, they usually have it!

I love the Cinnamon Vanilla scent.  It is very homey and smells like fall, which is exactly what I'm looking for this time of year.  It isn't too strong and it's more of a neutral scent, not one that many people wouldn't like.  My husband is obsessed with anything vanilla, and I love anything apple, so this was a perfect compromise for us!

I have a feeling I'll be buying lots and lots (and lots) of this in the near future.  I want my whole house to smell pretty now! :) So, I've been looking this week, and here are the scents I'm thinking about buying next:

Blueberry Cheesecake - This one caught my eye immediately.  I mean really?  That sounds so yummy!
Cozy Fireside - I feel like this one would be so great for Christmas time!
Apple Press - I mentioned I love anything apple, so this one's a no brainer. :)
Caramel Pear Crisp - This is actually the bar of the month.  Sounds amazing and is on sale through September!
Sunkissed Citrus - I'm thinking I'd like this one for next summer.

And I haven't even gotten into Scentsy's room sprays, soaps, lotions...if it has a good smell, they probably have it! :)  I was very impressed with the value of everything too.  For only $5, you can get a bar that would last about as long as candles I have paid upwards of $20-30 for.  I think the smell is just as strong and just as wonderful as those candles too.   I used 2 pieces of a bar for a full week.  There are 9 pieces to that $5 bar...that's a solid month of use!

I have had candles in the past, and I'll say this - I'm more comfortable using Scentsy, especially with a baby in the house.  The thought of open flames around a baby makes me a little nervous...this is much better!  I will want to put the plug-in warmer in a place where Emma Ramey can't reach it eventually, but it would be great in a countertop plug at that point.

All in all, Scentsy has a new fan this week.  No doubt I will be back for more!
