Repairing that "Summer Hair" (and a Giveaway!)

I've mentioned before that summer can kind of wreak havoc on my skin.  Well, living in Alabama, my hair doesn't fare much better.  Between the out of control humidity, the sun exposure, and those fun (but no so hair-healthy) summer pool trips, my hair ends up looking pretty rough and damaged by this time of year.

I've probably tried everything in the book to fix that end of summer damage.  Between those at-home remedies (that rarely do anything) and expensive conditioning treatments, you would think I wouldn't have to worry about summer damage by now.  Not so much.

That's why I was so excited to get the chance to try Dove's new line of advanced conditioners.  I told y'all a couple of months ago how impressed I've always been with Dove products.  I can't think of one I didn't just love when I tried it...especially for the price!  This product was no different.

I have had the opportunity to try Dove's new Intensive Repair conditioner for the past couple of weeks.  I was initially super impressed with the quality, like I typically am with Dove products!  This product has a light floral smell that doesn't overwhelm your hair.  It is really think and rich, and immediately leaves your hair feeling soft after use.  This is not one of those products you have to leave on your hair for an extended amount of time either.  I left it on for the average time I typically use conditioner (maybe 2-3 minutes) and it did the job.

I love this product after a couple of weeks of use.  And that end of summer hair?  Not there. :)  I've already noticed that my hair is stronger, softer, and less frizzy.  I really like that, even though it is a damage repair conditioner, it doesn't leave your hair greasy and weighed down like a lot of damage repair conditioners can do.  For the first time in years, my hair looks healthy at the end of summer!

There are several features about this conditioner that make it incredible.  A Fiber Active technology actually penetrates into the hair to repair damaged proteins.  It also has a Micromoisture Serum that repairs damage and seals the cuticles.  These and other products not only repair the damage you currently have, but protect your hair from future damage.  You can visit dovehair.com for more details!
