Emma Ramey gave me a big smile while she was eating her morning cereal Tuesday. She is SUCH a morning person. And loves her food. :)
...but after that, that day was just kind of downhill. ER wouldn't nap all day and was just pitiful...whiny and sleepy. I really think it's got something to do with teething, and the fact that we have needed to change her sleep schedule for awhile now. This was taken as she was skipping a nap and watching Paula Deen with me.
If she wasn't so cute while she was playing hookie from her nap, I would have been mad. :)
We changed her nap schedule as of yesterday...she's taking 2 1.5 hour naps a day now, instead of 3 1-1.5 hour ones. She's also going longer between feedings now (still getting the same amount total every day, just less feedings). Hopefully this will help with her mood toward the end of the day!
In the mean time, she did practice some rocking. Crawling is very, very near!
I decided last week that I was going to put my fall decorations post up yesterday. Well that was perfect timing - yesterday was the first day that it actually "felt" like fall!
We woke up yesterday morning to gorgeous cobalt blue skies and just a little bit of a chill in the air. I've probably mentioned before that fall is my absolute favorite season. There's just something kind of magical about it!
Emma Ramey insisted that I pull out her leggings and socks for yesterday, to usher fall in the right way. :) Could you not just eat those legs up?? She knew she was stylin'. :)
We headed to the grocery store...believe it or not, this is the first time she has EVER been in a grocery store. Crazy! My mom usually keeps her for me while I go (I am so lucky, I know). But I thought it was time to break her in. Trying to shop and watch her is a whole new experience!
This morning we were kind of lazy...Lion King (her dad's favorite Disney movie) was on, so we watched it in the big bed...Hardy included. It was a good morning. :)
(Don't forget to send me those questions for the Q&A post I've got going up tomorrow! Comment on the post or email me.)
