Ok y'all...I think this is kind of cool. I went to high school with these girls and was actually on danceline with Stefanie (on the left). They do Youtube videos on affordable fashion and beauty products, and have a TON of followers...over 150,000! I love watching their videos...not because I know them, but just because their videos are actually really good. They talk about all kinds of drug store, Target, and other cheap finds. It's really interesting - check them out!
2. Lancome Definicils Mascara
This is my old stand-by. I don't spend a ton of money on a lot of beauty products, but this is one I can't live without. It will give you lash volume like no other mascara I've ever tried. One tip - I buy the lot of like 10 sample sizes off of eBay. It's about the same price as one tube, but this lets you change out the tube every month or so like you're supposed to. I buy one of those sets like once a year and it lasts!
3. OPI and Essie Nail Polish
I used to be 100% opposed to trying to paint my own nails. Then I had a baby and zero time to go get them done...so you improvise. :) I've figured out that, if you use nice nail polish, it isn't that hard. I talked about some of the tips I've found to doing my own nails in this post - of course I found them on Pinterest. :) But they work! I usually find my OPI at Sephora.com, and my Essie off of Amazon. (***Update: I was actually in TJMaxx tonight and found that they have Essie polish! I got a few cute colors for $3.99 each.)
Like I said, I don't spend a ton of money on cosmetics...if you like a decent quality and really low prices, this is the place to get them. I don't use everything they have, but I love their mineral eyeshadows, mineral eye liners, and mineral lip products. They usually always have a sale going too.
I used the tanning bed more than I like to admit in college. I've gotten out of that stage, but I do still like the products I used when I went. This is the BEST lotion I've ever used. It makes your skin feel so, so soft. They used to have a kind that had a little bit of self-tanner in it, but I don't think they make it anymore. This is a splurge, but it's worth it!
Even though I don't do the tanning bed anymore, I still like a little bit of color. I got this when it was a deal on Groupon and I had some credit. It is AWESOME. It's so dark that you have to wear gloves to apply it. I used it a few times in the first week, then about once a week after that...I'm a little bit darker complected though, so those with fair skin might want to do less. It will get you DARK with one application!
I mentioned that I was using a Rodan and Fields regimen in this post. I am still loving it! :) It keep my skin clear and pretty.
These are just a few of the things I love...what are your favorites? Let me know - I'm always looking for new things to try!
(And PS - I picked a winner for the Scentsy giveaway - congratulations to Lauris! She said that she wanted to try Clean Breeze. I just emailed you Lauris! And don't forget, you can shop my Scentsy party through the 27th.)
