Big shopping week! As far as Publix goes this week, I was under budget by the skin of my teeth. But when you add in drug stores and a quick Target run, WAY over. I figure it’s ok since I’ve been under for so many weeks before this!
I’ve been to Walgreen’s, Rite Aid, Target, and Publix this week.
At Walgreen’s, I spent around $40 for a Neutrogena Clinical kit, hair ties, 2 packs of crackers, a bottle of Smart Water, and a Gilette Fusion razor (no clue what the value is on all of that, but I know it’s way over double my out of pocket expense). The best part – I’m getting $35 of that back in a Neutrogena rebate! So around $5 there…
At Rite-Aid, I bought a tube of Crest Toothpaste and a bottle of Crest Pro Enamel Rinse. I think I paid around $6.75 out of pocket, and I’m getting $5.69 of that back in Rite Aid Single Check Rebates! So like $1 there…
Target was a little mini trip. I had good coupons for Red Baron single pizza slices, and got 2 boxes for about $2.
And Publix…I think I bought half of the store this week. 🙂 This was an abnormally big trip for me. I’m trying out a few new recipes tonight and tomorrow, and needed a bunch of random ingredients that aren’t ever on sale…so I had to suck it up and buy at full price. I still was able to buy $72.80 worth of groceries for $24.98 (told you it was by the skin of my teeth). Here’s what I got!
