I LOVE my china pattern! We've been married over two years, and I still wouldn't change it. It's Waterford's Padova pattern.
It's a really simple pattern - we didn't get the accent plates with the design around the rim (but I'd like to one day), so our dinner plates match our salad plates. They just have a little bit of trim. SO pretty! Plus they are an off-white (to match earth tones) and have a platinum rim (to match cooler tones). It's the perfect setting!
When we registered, I went a little overboard and registered for EVERYTHING in the line. Ladies getting married, one piece of advice - don't do this. You rarely use your china, much less a 6 cup beverage server. Keep your mind on the practical stuff (things you use more than once a month), and just get your place settings. That being said, you have register for china. You just have to. It's a rule. So we did a nine piece place setting, and it works just fine!
One thing we did get was the creamer...I figured we would use this, so I kept it on the registry.
Y'all want to know what's sad though? I've never used my china. Want to know something else sad? This is where it is right now.
I want to display it so badly, but our house just doesn't have the space for a china cabinet (we don't have a dining room). It's on the next house list though!
