Running late with the winner, I know…running late is par for the course in my life these days. Anywho…
I put the number of comments (53) in random.org, and #30 came up. That was…
Congrats Mrs. Howard! Email me at [email protected] with your address, and I’ll make sure you get your prize!
Now on to the weekend.
I’ve really been kind of a bum, compared to how crazy things have been lately. Noah’s still having to take it easy, so we’ve kind of vegged out all weekend long.
Got the toes did Saturday. Oh, y’all know how I love that…I don’t spend a ton of money, but that’s one area where I treat myself.
I also cut the grass (since my normal grass-cutter is noticeably incapacitated and will be for about 5 more weeks). Note the oh-so straight lines (right…).
This would be the area I tried to cut after dark, with no floodlight access and a ton of rocks. After about the fifth rock flew past my face, I called it a night. Noah made fun of my once or twice for this today.
(I’m not totally sure what he’s doing here…he looks the way he does when his leash is caught on his foot). And this guy has gotten a TON of attention this week. Between his dad being home all week, the grandparents being in town, and us being home all weekend, he has gotten a little spoiled. Tomorrow’s going to be a rude awakening! 🙂
I’d like to report that the veggies are doing FABULOUSLY…those at the front of the picture are ones I planted last weekend! Can you believe it? My luck’s finally turning around in the gardening department.
And, finally, a little preview of my latest project. I have an awesome painting in my bedroom that has never been framed, and I’ve always wanted a frame for it. A couple of months ago, I got a quote on what it would cost…around $200. Umm, no thanks. So I got to researching, and they actually sell picture frame moulding by the sticks! I bought this off of ebay for around $40…I’ve just got to cut the angles in it now (when I can get someone to help me get our midar saw out of the attic) and assemble. I’m so excited, and can’t wait to get it done!
