Clothes are EASILY an area where you can spend a lot of money. I bet I could spend hundreds a month on clothes if I didn't watch it. However, there are easy ways to save!
-retailmenot.com is my best friend in shopping. If you are shopping ANYWHERE (and I literally mean just about anywhere) online, go to this site first. It will tell you if there are codes you can put in to save money. It's so easy to save with this!
-Buy a few staple items that are well made (i.e. will last awhile). Of course, the black dress is crucial! One or two cute black dresses go so far. These are from White House Black Market...I could spend my PAYCHECK there! :)
-I also think a couple of good pairs of dress pants are just as important. I have basically one pair of dress pants in every neutral color (black, brown, gray)...and they go SO far! I am currently obsessed with these pants...they're much more casual (I call them my teacher pants). They are SO comfy, very durable, and fit really well! I have them in 2 colors so far, and will probably be buying more soon!
-If you've been under a rock, you haven't heard of forever21.com...it has the cutest, cheapest clothes ever. I buy all of my trendy clothes and jewelry there. Plus, every once in a while, they'll run a 10% off coupon (going back to retailmenot.com...check it, it will have one every now and then!).
-Ok, I don't have experience in this yet, but I've heard motherhoodmaternity.com has forever 21 style clothes in maternity sizes. I can't wait to find out! :)
How do you stay cute on a budget?
