Snow is RARE in Alabama. We might see a flurry once a month or so, and accumulating snow is even more sparse. So if it does snow at all, everything basically shuts down.
So we got a fun day off yesterday!
It started about 9:30 in the morning. There was a TON of snow falling all day, but it was just a little too warm for most of it to stick. It started accumulating on plants at first.
Hardy went out to play, but wasn't too sure about the whole situation.
He's only seen snow once in his whole life, so I don't think he quite got it. He just knew that we were home for the whole day, so it must be a good thing! :)
Around lunch, we were starting to see more and more accumulate...
...but then it got up to like 33 degrees, and all melted. Bummer, I know.
So Noah and I decided that if it was going to melt, we might as well have some fun with it.
We had a snowball fight...
(Hardy gladly took the leftovers.)
..and built the teeny tiniest snowman you've ever seen with the leftover snow around the fence.
Now, it's all melted, and we're back to normal...
...but it was a fun day to hang out with my two guys.
(And we might get some more tomorrow night!)
