Noah just got off the phone with our travel planner from Carnival...we're booked and ready to go!
We're sailing out June 1st from Seattle on a 7 day Alaskan cruise. I'm so completely totally excited!
Here's the boat:
(I doubt we'll be using this much, considering the average high is 60 degrees that time of year in Alaska.)
And my favorite part...our room!
We went on and got a balcony, considering it was only like $100 extra per person and one of the days we will be cruising a glacier. Definitely worth it!
I absolutely cannot wait! And thanks to everyone for the recommendations on the last post. We decided to go with Carnival because that's what we've always used (so we know we like it) and they have some sweet past guest rates. :)
Alaska, here we come (in 5 months)!!

We wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise for our honeymoon but the military had other plans and we still have yet to have the time. We'll make it there someday. I'll keep Carnival in mind!

You are going to LOVE alaska! if you guys haven't been to Seattle I highly recommend going a day or two early and seeing the sights in Seattle! It's got some great stuff! When you go to the glaciers either do a heli ride up to the top and snowshoe down (my grandma did this and i'm so jealous! Or at least go on the trail hike! Have so much fun! I'm jealous! I only go to alaska for work on our commercial fishing boat, it's not nearly as glamorous! ENJOY! Can't wait for pictures! :)
An Alaskan cruise is on my to do list. Might have to add it to my 101 in 1001. I think you and Noah are going to have such a blast! What a great way to celebrate the end of the school year!
We cruised with Carnival twice last year and loved it and the past guest rates and functions are well worth it! We want to do the Alaskan cruise!

You will love Alaska and you are going at the perfect time. They should still be snow in the mountains. Make sure you take the White Pass train ride, it's gorgous and ride the zip line in Icy Strait Point! Our ship ended in Vancouver and you could stay another week there!!!
