Our (Very Alabama Themed) New Year

Last night was SO much fun!  We celebrated the new year at The Zone...if you're not an Alabama fan, that's the big skybox at Bryant-Denny stadium where a lot of parties/events are held!

This is the best picture I could get of the stadium...all the lights were out except for the skyboxes, and all I had was my cell phone as a camera, so not much to work with.

It was such a good time...and we won a Daniel Moore!  There was a raffle for several different things, and of course Noah put all of the tickets he had into the drawing for this.  He was too excited. :)

Today, we've done a whole lot of nothing.  We laid around and watched football most of the day.  The best part - I'm still in my pajamas!  I LOVE these kind of days!

I did work on my Christmas wreaths for next year...I like to start early. :)  Michael's had some awesome deals on ribbon and Christmas decorations, so I stocked up!  Here's a little preview:

I think they are SO cute!

Noah's left this evening for Hattiesburg.  Sunday is his brother's 21st birthday, so as a birthday present, he's taking him to New Orleans Saturday night.  God bless him...he's going to be doing a whole lot of babysitting this weekend!  Haha!!  I'm sticking around here to get a few blogs finished and get our house cleaned before I have to go back to work Tuesday.  I don't know how I'm going to do - I've been SPOILED the past few weeks!

But for now, I get to spend as much time as possible with this guy for a few more days.

He looks so excited, doesn't he? :)

Sounds like a fun new year!

I'm jealous that you don't have to go back to school 'til Tuesday. We head back Monday, and I'm seriously dreading it!
