Not Me! Monday

Alright, how great have I been this week??

For starters, I did not wait until yesterday to take down my Christmas decorations.  I am completely superstitious, and would never let Christmas stay up past new year's.

I also didn't swear off real trees forever yesterday after this fell onto my carpet (and this isn't after I picked up half of a Target bag full of pine needles by hand).

When it snowed this morning (which it never does in Alabama), I didn't go out into the snow in my pajamas like an idiot and take multiple pictures of my neighbors' house (because that's the only angle at which my camera could see the snow).

It's there, I promise.

While in said snow in said pajamas, my dog didn't look at me like I was a complete and absolute doofus the entire time I was out there.

About 3 seconds after this picture was taken, he didn't walk inside the house to look at me like I was a complete and absolute doofus.

And I don't, in my heart, believe that there was accumulation from this like 5 minutes of snow because I was able to take a picture of it sticking to a table.

Can you tell I like snow??

Back to Hardy...he has not been a BUM since I've been out of school.  I totally realized he sleeps like 20 hours a day.

He doesn't look at me like I'm bothering him every time I make a sound in the same room as him.  He also doesn't let out this loud, annoyed groan about every 10 minutes.

My guy's got energy.

Have a great (snowy in some cases) Monday!

Haha this was cute and obviously you know the snow thing is something that I would NOT do either. Hope you enjoyed your flakes and hope you get to enjoy some REAL accumulation on Thursday!!! Please twitpic for me if it happens. :-)

Too funny! I just have to tell you, that even though I am NOT a dog lover AT ALL...I thoroughly enjoy your pictures of Hardy and all your Hardy stories. They always make me smile. If I was ever going to have a dog, I would probably look for a Hardy-esque type - ha! Love the pic of him curled up on the chair with the newspaper in front of him - hilarious! Have a great snowy Monday...since we start back to school tomorrow, I am PRAYING for a blizzard tonight - ha!

I would NOT totally have the same reaction to the snow! It NEVER snows here (in Columbia, SC), so any flurry at all is SUPER exciting and would NOT cause me to act insane!! :)

Oh, and Hardy is adorable!

How sweet! My weenie dog does the EXACT same thing. He sleeps far more than he's ever awake and he always seems annoyed when I get a day off work and want to play in the afternoon or go for a walk. He's actually sat down in the driveway, on the leash, and given me the "you cannot make me move. I will not move. THis is against the rules." look, coupled with the groan or the sigh. I feel your pain!
