13

I have never been more proud to be a fan of The University of Alabama or an Alabama graduate.  This is so awesome. :)

They gave us a couple of scares throughout the game, but for the most part, it was a solid, well-played game.  Texas is awesome - definitely deserved to be there with us.  And I so hope that Colt McCoy is ok - he is an upstanding, classy, Godly guy that I hope goes on to have a great future.

We are obviously beyond ecstatic here.  Literally, every update on my facebook for the last like 45 minutes has been about this.  Just to put it in perspective, the last time this happened, I was 7.  The only memory I have of it is sitting in front of my coffee table at home, coloring a coloring book, and looking up to see Gene Stallings get his Gatorade bath.  My mom was 9 months pregnant (my brother was born January 17, 1993), and Bill Clinton was about to take office.  My how things have changed. :)

And here we are, 17 years later, doing it again.

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

My husband got up at 5 am to watch the game on our slingbox since we are 9 hours ahead. We stream TV from his parent's house in Cali. I was thinking about you when I saw Alabama win!

That game was something else! My Facebook (and Twitter, too) looked exactly the same...lol! The last time this happened in 1992, was the year my triplets were born and spent the year in NICU....I don't remember anything about football that year at all!

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

Roll TIDE!!! SEC RULES!
Hi Leslie...love your blog. Read it all the time and feel like I know you! Thought about you so much yesterday and I'm so glad the SEC dominated. I'm from Fayetteville so of course I'm a RAZORBACK for life, but will always support the SEC. Hope you got your snow, too! Here's to a perfect day!!

I must say I am disappointed with the way things turned out for my Longhorns! If Colt hadn't been injured so early in the game the outcome would have been different. Without our leader it was a tough battle. Our defense was phenomenal and we didn't give up without a fight. You lucked out.
