Show Us Your Life - Christmas Traditions

I am SO excited it's finally Christmas!

My family has several traditions for Christmas, that mostly revolve around movies.

 

Our two ABSOLUTE favorite Christmas movies...ever!

We have always made a big deal out of putting up our Christmas tree too.  We usually had one of the movies about playing, and each one of us (I have two brothers) got to put up the ornaments before my mom started rearranging them to space them out correctly. :)

Every Christmas when I was little, we had the same routine - my mom's parents' house on Christmas Eve to open presents, getting our Santa presents on Christmas morning (Santa didn't wrap out presents), my dad's parents' house after that on Christmas morning, then back to my mom's side.  Of course it never tired the kids out, but being an adult now, I can really appreciate how hard it was for my parents to get 3 kids to that many places in that little span of time!

Now that I'm married, we are alternating which years we are in Hattiesburg and which years we are in Tuscaloosa for Christmas...this is a Tuscaloosa year for Christmas!  Which means I'm currently coming to you from Hattiesburg for Thanksgiving. :)
