We also love to take vacations...this was the Bahamas this summer.
I am a first grade teacher, and he is an insurance agent. All throughout the summer, I kept a record of my new classroom, and how it was coming along! Here's a couple of pictures that were included in it:
Feel free to look around...we've got a lot going on in our lives right now! I'm glad you're here!

Roll Tide! I'm originally from AL and was raised a die-hard Bama fan! :) Your classroom looks great! Congrats on the new room!
Leslie, we love your room as a teacher. I (Luisa) was once a teacher, too, until my health failed me to teach for now. But, one day, I'll go back to teaching.
You two are cute together!

I am also teaching first grade this year! I taught fourth last year and kindergarten the year before. I LOVE 1st! Your classroom is great! I think I am going to "steal" some of your ideas. ;o) Also, I am super jealous of your SmartBoard. My school just "upgraded" to getting a document camera for the grade to share. wow.
You two are just a darling couple! I taught special ed many years ago....I loved it!!! Have fun teaching those babies! It is a special time! Thanks for sharing the pics!
Your classroom looks great. My husband is a high school teacher and isn't allowed into his room until just a few days before they have to report back after summer vacation. And sometimes they move people to different rooms, so they have to MOVE everything and get set up all over again in just a few days, in between all the meetings. Yikes!
