I started designing blogs in April, about the time I actually started blogging! I wanted a cute blog, but I'm very particular about the kinds of things I like. I have some experience in html code from college, so I thought I'd try it out! A couple of friends liked my design and asked if I could do their's as well. And the rest is history. :) Since April, I've designed over 70 blogs.

The big reason I started this as a side business is to raise money for my classroom. I am a first year teacher, and as you know, money isn't great in schools right now. A lot of teachers are paying for a lot of their classroom supplies out of pocket. This business has actually raised most of the money needed to start up my classroom! It still helps pay for that, but the focus for continuing blog design has kind of shifted in the last couple of months. I want more than anything to have children, but college debt is kind of standing in the way right now. This business is helping us pay off the debt I incurred throughout college. I couldn't be more thankful that the Lord has blessed me with a way to get closer to having children! So just know that your business helps me get to becoming a mommy. :)

Hey girl! I just randomly found your blog through Kelly's. I don't think I've seen you since our ADPi days at UA, but so good to see you are doing well!
P.S. I tried your dessert from the carnival cruise and it was a total bust! I was so disappointed. I obviously didn't do something right. I might have to get some advice on what I did wrong.
I've been blogging since 2003 and still use the same pathetic Blogger template. Maybe I will ask my hubby for a blog makeover for Christmas! What do you charge (or what is your scale, I assume depending on extent and detail)?
