I had another AWESOME  week of grocery deals!  I spent $16.35 (at two different stores) for over $50 worth of products!  Here's how it broke down this week:

(All of the following is from Publix, unless otherwise noted.)

2 Knorr Rice Side Dishes - Normally $1.47 each, on sale for buy 1 get 1 free, had a coupon for both that was 45 cents off of 1 (and those double) - that means both were FREE, and I got an overage of 30 cents!

Why do those coupons double?! And where do you get all these coupons from?? Crazy how good of deals you're getting!!

How kewl is that?! I have seen so many of these posts lately, but I just don't have it in me to clip coupons.

I think the next best step to all of this is preparing meals with the stuff you buy and calculating how cheap a meal you can cook with all your "cheap groceries." THAT I would find interesting...maybe enough to begin cutting coupons!

I am totally wishing we had a Publix up here! $2.09 is a NON sale price for milk? Very nice! I shop at a locally owned grocery store which is much cheaper than the chains and regular priced milk is still $3.29. Great job with the bargains!

That's great! I have always wanted to do this but I am so clueless as to how the coupon stuff works. Does it automatically double in the register or do you have to tell them to double it or do they just know? That may be a really dumb question, but I don't know anything about it lol! P.S. I was looking through Social Studies units the other night and saw yours and was like "Hey! That's a blog girl!" lol

Question? What does it mean when a coupon doubles...do only certain ones double? How do you know if a coupon doubles? Is it only something at Publix?
