Words don't quite describe how exhausted I am right now.
I've had professional development 2 days in a row now, 8:30-3:30. No big deal, I knew about this...it was supposed to be a short, laid back day.
Which it totally could have been if I hadn't stayed until 8:00 each night painting.
So you remember the before pictures of the classroom? Here's the (sort of) after:

I painted the middle of the stripe white yesterday, and today (not shown), I painted the red air conditioning cover and outsides of the big stripe around the room a bright green. I also painted those ugly blue countertops, but I think I'm going to redo them black. All of that was oil based paint, so I am currently covered in bright green paint. Head to toe. Get you a good mental image of that.
I was so tired when I left tonight that I forgot to take pictures, but I'll try to get some tomorrow!
Next up is the zebra print that's going inside of the white area. I'm still a little undecided - I think I might have some pity on the person that has this classroom after me and just get vinyl black stripes to stick on.
And the curtains I was slaving away on last week?

I think they turned out pretty cute!
(Sorry these pictures aren't great - I took them on my backup camera that stays in my purse. Contrary to popular belief, my nice camera in not attached to my hand at all times :))
So now, I'm finally sitting down. I have several blogs I need to be doing (of course this is the week that everybody wanted a makeover), but I had to email them and tell them it would be tomorrow before I could do anything. I am just too ridiculously worn out right now.
