Winners and Weddings

...and we have a winner!!!

The posts for the pouch contest just closed at midnight, and I am so excited to announce that Erin (posting at 12:15am on June 5th) is the winner!

She was the 31st person to comment on the post, and her lucky number popped up on the random number generator. Congrats Erin! Just email me at leslieflambert@gmail.com with your address and I'll get your prize out to you.

Seriously, I can't even begin to describe how amazing this wedding was.

It was held at the TPC in Ponte Vedra, Florida. Anybody that has ever been here or watched golf probably knows this place, because it is a PGA tour site. It was incredible. The scenery was beautiful, the clubhouse where the reception was held was spectacularly nice, the food was excellent (probably the best wedding cake I have ever eaten, by the way), everybody had an absolute blast, and most importantly, the bride was just absolutely glowing and so in love.

I literally cannot think of a way this could have been a more perfect wedding. This is coming from a former bridezilla that still notices every little detail of every wedding I go to.

I'll let the pictures do the talking. :)

The scenery from the clubhouse (I think Noah said this was the 18th hole).

The guest book - such a cute idea! They had a professionally made book of pictures of the two of them, and the guests signed around the pictures.

Some of my sorority sisters...good friends that I don't get to see often enough anymore!

The tables and centerpieces were just stunning. The food was fabulous too - steak and red snapper!

About to eat dinner.

The oh-so-delicious cake. They (I think) drizzled juice on it before they frosted it, so it was super moist, almost like tiramisu. I could have eaten 10 pieces.

Every good southern sorority girl has to do a candlelight at their wedding! It's an old tradition that pretty much every sorority does. I did it at my wedding...

...and every one of my sorority sisters (that are married so far) have done it at their wedding!

My favorite picture - with the woman of the hour!

We also got to see my brother-in-law and sister-in-law (Noah's brother and sister-in-law) this weekend. They live 12 hours away from us in Daytona, Florida, but since we were only going to be like 1 1/2 hours away from them, they drove up to see us! We never get to see them anymore, so it was so much fun!

My sister-in-law (Heather) with my brother-in-law (Heath) laughing at something in the background. :)

Yay for fun weekends! Boo for 20 hour car rides and sleep deprivation though...I haven't slept more than four hours in a night since Friday. I'd go to sleep, but have you ever been so tired you can't sleep?? Where I am right now.

Hence the post at midnight. :)

Wow, that wedding was gorgeous! That golf course is so pretty! Hole # 17 is the most famous hole in golfing, haha! Congrats to the winner!
