Show Us Where You Live Friday

I just LOVE this idea! Kelly from Kelly's Korner decided to start showing off one room of her house every Friday. I love seeing how other people decorate their houses, and since I put so much work into mine, showing mine off too!

Looking into our kitchen.  I love the layout of our kitchen because it's so unique from other houses this size in our area.  We have TONS of counter space (which we need for all the stuff we have!), and just as much cabinet space.  Plus I love the stainless steel appliances...Noah isn't as big on them, but we're working on that :).
I collect Arthur Court elephant pieces and Magnolia Lane Alabama dishes, so this is where I display most of them.  I have a ton...mostly from wedding presents, but some were birthday/Christmas presents for me.  This picture doesn't even show half of the ones I have above the cabinets, and I have a few throughout the house as well!  Hopefully you'll get to see those on another "Show Us Where You Live" post.

This is one of my favorite parts of the kitchen.  This picture frame was my wedding present from Noah...it matches our cake cutter and server that we used to cut our wedding cake.  And I am currently OBSESSED with these candles...they will put a great smell into my whole kitchen AND living room with just one candle!  So worth every penny!


Our fridge...a.k.a. the save the date/wedding invitation gallery!  We have a ton of friends that are getting married right now.  We also have some of our favorite pictures of us from over the years.

The kitchen table that we never eat at.  I think we have used this table a grand total of two times.  But it's a great place to put mail...haha!  If you haven't noticed yet, we have kind of an elephant theme going throughout our house, and we bought the elephants on the table on our honeymoon.  


Again, more elephants.  These were actually a housewarming present from my friend Dana (I talked about her in a post a few days ago).  They match our house SO perfectly!


This is a pretty big, awkward space in the corner of our kitchen, so I just put some cutesy things back there and it turned out so great!  It ended up being one of the cutest areas of the kitchen.
