Busy Busy

Whew, today has been super busy!  I started out the morning sitting in a hallway at UA for 30 minutes during a tornado warning (if you're from the South, you just get used to this).  So, that knocked my whole day out of whack!  After taking my LAST (hopefully) exit exam of college, I went to sell a bunch of old clothes to a local consignment shop.  

I am currently on a mission - I want to get a new camera before we leave on the cruise, but I have to order it LIKE TODAY to get it in.  So I have been scrounging around the house, looking for every little thing I might be able to make money off of to afford it.  So far, I have found/rolled change worth $100, am sending in $11 worth of scratch-off tickets to the Louisiana Lottery (haha!), and made $16 from the consignment shop this morning...ugh, I know.  I thought they would take a lot more because it was basically all name brand, but a lot of it was old and probably should have been taken years ago.  

I also put a bunch of things on ebay, and I'm going to put all of the leftover clothes on ebay in one big lot and see what happens.  That should get it to where it needs to be!  I also started selling hairbows on ebay about a month ago...I don't think I've ever mentioned that on here!  It started as just a hobby, just because I wanted something creative to do, and since they were turning out so cute and I have zero little girls to give them to, I thought I might as well make money off of them!  You can check out all of my bows and everything I'm trying to sell right now at my ebay store (link also located in my right sidebar!).

I'm also on a mission to get my house completely clean before we leave on the cruise!  I'm taking one or two rooms a day...yesterday I did some of the kitchen and I'll finish it today.  Tomorrow will be the living room (so I can get my pictures for Kelly's Korner home tour) and laundry room, Friday is bathrooms, Monday is master bedroom, and Tuesday/Wednesday is the back bedrooms.  I'll let you know how that goes :)

So, from here, besides that, I have to confirm an appointment for tomorrow, fold three weeks worth of laundry, get a shipment of bows in the mail, write some thank you letters for graduation presents, clean the kitchen,and cook for the rest of the week.  Told you it was a busy day!

And Hardy is doing his normal (you didn't honestly I'd go a day without a picture of my doggy child, did you?)

PS - Did everybody get their free KFC coupons?  If not, go to Oprah.com before 9pm tonight to get a coupon for a free 2 piece grilled, 2 side, and biscuit meal :)  We're using our's tonight...I'll tell you how we like it!
